Reconstruir das Ruínas (rebuild from the ruins) is a compilation created by 25 musicians from the Lisbon underground electronic scene, including Xinobi, Vil, Dan Ghenacia, Kaspar, and many more. They are kindly donating their tracks with all proceeds being donated to União Audiovisual (uniaoaudiovisual.pt) - an association working on providing support and essential goods to artists and audiovisual professionals affected by the pandemic. 

Music has the power of bringing people together and here, it plays a major role in rebuilding our future from the rubble left behind by this pandemic. We were blessed to be free to party before and we shouldn’t let the sense of nostalgia translate into despair; we should use it as a positive driving force pushing us to look forward: nothing will be the same but, if we work together, it can only get better. 

The release is proudly produced by the Ruínas collective.

PREMIÈRE: Ansidis - Legitimate Spots [Ruínas]

In late 2020 Biodub had the honour of being invited by Native Instruments to provide his track "No Tumble Down" for the 
Metapop Remix Competition. During a single month the Metapop community created a stunning 180! remixes of the original. 
With so many remixes in different genres, it was a rewarding challenge to dive into the nuances and choose the ones
that transcended the challenge. For the release, seven of these interpretations have been carefully chosen for two compilations
that celebrate the diversity of deep electronic music.

(MAM029) Jazz Plays Softly - Clustering Illusions

Our new SDS (@sitdownsessions) series at Lisbon’s iconic CINCO Lounge brings together an eclectic mix of artists and styles all DJing and sippin’ cocktails from the comforts of the couch. With this concept we create a more intimate and approachable atmosphere where the DJ, their friends (and future ones) can blend together in rhythmic harmony. The sessions are recorded live on Facebook and the audio will be presented later here in its uninterrupted format.

For our first session (SDS001) on August 15th, @ansidis provided the ambiance and style with some deep and minimal house grooves and the people brought the vibe. Kick back and relax for the next two hours as we did with a cocktail or two of your own. 💙
