今回はピアノはお休みです。
鳥になりたいなぁ。良いよなぁ。でも鳥の中でも色々とルールとか合って大変だったりするのかなぁ。

There's a break from piano this time.
I want to be a bird. That would be nice. But I wonder if it would be difficult for birds because there are all sorts of rules to follow.

On the Beach

Paulo Chagas lives in Portugal and I in the USA.
We agreed to make this album by sharing music files over the internet.

While we worked on this album, 
making music for a peaceful world was on our mind.

All over the world, 
tensions, conflicts, suppressions and violence
of one group over another have arisen.

As musical artists, we believe that our artistic process 
demonstrates what we wish for the world,

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world”:

Hi there friends and Listeners 😀

As illio & i have no vocalist yet, I always find it more difficult to find appropriate names for the improvs than just letting the music flow in our sessions.  But... cuz i love to share, here's our latest piano and guitar piece 'Winds n Waves*'

It begins with eerie night winds whistling through the trees in the moments before dawn... and then proceeds to stir up the waves in the bay, creating a surf that eventually bears down on the shoreline, as a new day is born.

I'm playing my ES7 Stage Piano and illio is on his classical guitar. And as usual we're recording with just our little stereo Zoom mic.

I wrote this song 15 years ago for close friend and guitarist Elmer Stone. Elmer and I have collaborated on three songs on Soundcloud but this one is purely a tribute to him and the friendship we have shared for the past thirty-plus years.  It is also a memorial for his wife Bonnie who he lost two years ago. She was a core contributor to his music, life partner, and his best friend.
I am indebted to Mike Fox and Axel Meningen for taking my rough demo of the song and making it a broadcast quality production.  Thank you gentlemen for your time, talents, and belief that the song could be more than I could ever make it on my own.
