'RETURN TO THE ROOFTOP' is the debut full length album from Boorloo (Perth) based composer, producer and sound artist Sleepthink (Ethan Reed). Sleepthink presents a deeply personal record that uses sound as a means of exploring the emotional aftermath of the suicide of a close friend and long time musical collaborator. Through the use of various synthesis techniques, sonic manipulation, field recordings and acoustic instrumentation, Sleepthink offers diverse soundscapes, emotionally potent melody and a range of unique textures across this work. Recorded and produced in his home studio, this 14-track record gives a deep insight into the creative process of the artist and his love of sonic textures, experimental recording techniques and emotionally dense music.

Newer Unknown Breeds was at the time a further development in sound for Blink Twice. The album expanded on the techno and electro genre much more than Blink Twice's debut "Other Locations". There was an increase usage of sampling on this collection of material, often with looped effects incorporated to add further density. With the blend of tribal and industrial elements remaining, it serves as an adventurous concoction of experimental rhythmic and darker ambient electronic music.

The underlying theme of "Newer Unknown Breeds" was the observance of mutations (both deliberate and natural) within organisms. Evolutionary results of obscure creatures and their advancement and place in the biological field.

Angel Aura Dust

This album emerges from the rediscovery of an accordion following the loss of a close relative an instrument that had been a constant companion throughout their life, weaving itself into the fabric of childhood memory. At its core lies the recognition that both human and
accordion share the same essential act: breathing.

The accordion becomes a meditation on mortality and memory, its bellows expanding and contracting like "lungs", its air valve releasing pure breath without melody—the raw pneumatic essence of life itself. Every sound originates from this single instrument, largely unprocessed, preserving the intimate relationship between human touch and mechanical response.

It’s an investigation of how an instrument can hold the memory of hands that no longer play it. The mechanical whispers, the subtle articulations of metal and leather and wood become a language of remembrance, breathed rather than spoken.
