Os mais velhos dizem que um dia, cansado da 
solidão do poder, Zambiapungo, o Ser Supremo
 dos cultos angolo-congoleses, foi tomado pela 
tristeza e cogitou desistir da criação do mundo. 
Os inquices, seus filhos, resolveram alegrá-lo, 
para que a criação não fosse interrompida.
Katendê, o Senhor da medicina da floresta, 
macerou as folhas e preparou um banho para 
refrescar Zâmbi. Zaratempo criou as estações
do ano: o calor do verão, os dias amenos do
outono, o frio do inverno e as floradas da primavera.
Matamba, a dona do balé espantoso dos relâmpagos,
foi a próxima a tentar alegrar o Pai maior.
Vunji trouxe as crianças, que começaram a dar 
cambalhotas e subir nas árvores; Angorô inventou
o arco-íris depois da chuvarada; Gongobira coloriu
os rios com peixes coloridos; Dandalunda mostrou
a força das cachoeiras. Mutalambô caçou um
pássaro gigante com a sua destreza de flecheiro; 
Nkosi forjou ferramentas diversas; Lembarenganga 
preparou um cortejo de pombas, cabras e caramujos.
Zâmbi agradeceu o esforço dos inquices, 
mas continuou triste. Finalmente restava Zazi, 
o Senhor do fogo. Saberia ele de alguma coisa que
pudesse acabar com o banzo do Pai?
Zazi consultou o oráculo para saber como alegrar 
Zâmbi. Seguindo as ordens do adivinho, 
sacrificou um bode branco, retirou a pele do bicho 
e repartiu a carne entre os inquices. Em seguida, 
usou o fogo para tornar oco o pedaço de um tronco 
seco da floresta. Sobre uma das extremidades do
 tronco oco, Zazi esticou o couro do animal e inventou 
Ngoma – o primeiro tambor.
Zazi começou a percutir o couro com toda a força
 e destreza. Aluvaiá, aquele que os iorubás conheciam
 como Exu e os fons como Legbá, gingou ao som
 do tambor de Zazi. Em seguida, todos os deuses 
do Congo , ao batuque sincopado do Ngoma, 
fizeram a primeira festa na manhã do mundo.
Zambiapungo alegrou-se com o fuzuê. Deu a Zazi o 
título de Xicarangomo – expressão oriunda do 
quicongo nsika (tocador ) + ngoma (tambor) = 
o tocador de tambor – e anunciou que a criação não
 iria parar: que viessem crianças, mulheres e homens 
para escutar Ngoma, cantar, dançar e alegrar a vida.
É por isso que os bacongos dizem que Ngoma, 
o tambor, será o pai de todos os que transgridam 
a dor em desafios de festa e liberdade.
Sua benção, Ngoma, nosso pai tambor!

After moving to Cape Town and experiencing the Psytrance scene there over the course of 2016, the longing to better understand and comprehend these intelligent frequencies urged Louis to begin creating his own music. Thus the project TerraHertz (Energy, frequencies and vibrations from Earth.) was born.
Louis grew up heavily influenced by various alternative rock and metal bands, classical pieces, motion picture soundtracks, indie & psychedelic rock, and dark ambient soundscapes until the discovery of psychedelic trance music. The influences of the project include that of the 'darker' artists performing in the Cape Town scene, and darker music from all over the world, focused on but not limited to higher speeds than the usual SA speed limit. (148 bpm)
Since then, in the midst of connections with local and international producers, he has accumulated techniques, creating his own style within genres such as Night Psychedelic, Twilight, Forest and Darkpsy, exploring cosmic soundscapes through which the listeners can have a unique experience. Always bringing an ancestral and spiritual touch, with the intention of transporting the listener into an active meditative state of being through the movement of dance, and thus invoking a mental state of high vibration.
Just like life itself, the sound of TerraHertz is constantly growing and evolving, expressing creativity through various tempos, exploring realms of the uncharted. It can be described as cheeky, playful, funky, dark; featuring groovy hard-hitting basslines, intelligent ripping leads, and massive astral atmospheres.
