I originally started making it at 110bpm, and soon thought it was too similar to the original, so I worked on the 2nd drop at 175bpm with a nice little transition in the middle. I hope you all have as fun listening as I did remixing!

And they put it under "The Antagonist" (there is no "The" in my name :P)... Long story short, I just stumbled upon the release on beatport, 2 MONTHS after release. Ugh.

This one's been a long time coming folks. I made a remix of this track back in 2009, released a free download in 2010, and since got more than 100,000 plays on it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miniwunj_S8).... 
However I was never satisfied with that remix and never played it at my shows, so I intended on creating something better in the same character that would be club-friendly. This is the outcome. Hope you enjoy!

Tech N9ne - Come Gangsta (Antagonist VIP Remix) [FREE DOWNLOADS!!]

When I went about remixing this gorgeous tune I was simply torn between what genre or bpm to produce in. What I ended up with is a cross genre, 'transition tune' if you will. The track starts off at 128bpm to open into a crisp, tight breakbeat track. At the midway mark, the tune skyrockets in both energy and tempo, turning into a brisk drum and bass roller. Enjoy!
