sleepy yet still containing subtle movement, floating threads is intended as an aid to meditation, and is inspired by the dreamstate between the conscious and unconscious. all of the sounds in the track  - with the exception of the grounding bass - are originally based on acoustic instruments such as piano and tongue drum. the long reverb tails in the higher frequencies are intentionally 'breath-like', drawing the listener in to a state of tranquility and inner peace...

🙌 Slavic Sunrise is beautifully composed relaxing track with warm harmonies and glitchy electronics. It's a rework of The American Dollar's track made by Message To Bears, to be released as a single and on the album 'Lofi Dimensions 3 - Ambient Reworks'. The album will consist of 14 alternative versions of The American Dollar songs and will be out on the 5th of May. Message To Bears: "After The American Dollar creating a beautiful remix for my 10 year anniversary album, I was asked to return the favour and remix their song Slavic Sunrise, taking my favourite elements from the original and creating a new sonic landscape".

Antarctic Wastelands is the ambient music moniker of Hong Kong-based producer Ben Tatlow. Focusing primarily on environmental themes of beauty, desolation and the diverse nature in between, his music has been described as “frozen ambient soundscapes that are meant to get lost within” by Rural Sounds, while Tone Harvest write that “its sights seem to be inter-dimensional in nature.”

Alongside Antarctic Wastelands, Ben produces music as @saltofthesound and @narrowskies with his wife @anitatatlow, as well as running the indie ambient label Echoes Blue Music.
