The Harmony Falls album by ambient composer SymphoCat immerses the listener in the mystic aesthetics of films from the 90s. Where stories about small, forgotten places and mysterious events take place are intertwined. At first glance, simple things can present an unexpected twist to an intricate plot, and the main character could not find way back.

A track that was initially going nowhere (you could argue at over eight minutes long with about a single change it still does that...) but kept demanding to be made into something. So I did. Did not end up how I expected, which is part of the joy of this. Into double digits for tracks now, and almost double digits for run time. Maybe one day I'll write a sub-five minute long song again.
