Sasha's flourishing label Last Night On Earth welcomes Thomas Smith.

He delivers his single Retina Scan - an exquisite production of crisp analogue sounds and perfectly worked drums, that has been gracing Sasha's sets for the past year.

The package also includes two mixes, first of which is from Berlin based, Hot Flush label owner Scuba under his SCB alias. A tougher re-working of the original that features signature SCB elements that has made him one the most hotly tipped producers of late.

Also on the package is a mix from South African DJ/Producer Anthea Scholtz, who featured on last years Never Say Never line up with Sasha at Ushuaia Ibiza. Her deeper, sparser mix exudes cool and a great addition to the release.

At face value Anthea embodies elegance and confidently carries the flag, the perfect juxtaposition to her throbbing music. A humble person who understands that with the ever-changing music scene, one must be judged on their passion and the ability to make a set flow effortlessly and sublimely.

Its not difficult to see that, with her immense talent, high emphasis on technical skill and open, warm nature, over fifteen years she has risen effortlessly through the ranks of electronic music culture in South Africa and beyond. 

The world is fast becoming Anthea’s playground, and we’re all the better for it.
