SUMMARY: 
This song is about an insecure girl, who is afraid of people leaving her. She just need that special someone to hold her and tell her that everything will be okay. 

DIFFERENTIATION: 
I feel that this song is pretty unique and means a lot to me. The song speaks out the words i want to say, but too afraid to say it out. It gives off a vibe that conveys a story to the listener.

DELIVERY:
I think that the lyrics of this song is very simple which delivers what i want the song to have. At the start of music, it shows that it is a rainy night scene, which was trying to say sadness and overthinking.

summary:
this song is from a girls perspective where she feels that she’s in a beautiful dream when she is with her ex lover. However, reality slapped her in the face and the guy ghosted her, left without saying a word. She is confused and keeps questioning herself on why he left her so suddenly.  In this song she is just reminiscing about the days where they were so in love and she just cant seem to move on. 

differentiation:
this piece is different as it is created using piano and pad. the lyrics are very straight forward and easy. It also gives out a bit of the melancholic and sad feeling. this piece also don’t develop to how she moves on, but stuck in a circle.  

delivery:
the chords, melody and lyrics to this song is very simple. It also uses only one instrument as my idea for this song is to make it sound like the character is thinking alone. my bells at the start of the song has delay as it gives out a feeling of sadness/time ticking. The pads are used to give the dreamy feeling like the character is in a dream as she cant seem to move on.

the song is about a person racing with time, who doesnt have much time left in the world.
i think what stands out from this song is that it doesnt have any vocals, as i use the bell to describe that the time is ticking. when the drum beat comes in, it just shows a person running (to stay alive).  
towards the end of the song, there is just a bell, representing that the time is still ticking and the person has passed on.

the song is about two ex-lover who still thinks about one another all the time but cant be together due to bad timing.

the rain sound at the beginning sets the sad mood and of them thinking about one another. in the middle of the song, theres a girl sigh which shows how much she misses him and sad that their relationship ended. towards the end of a song, a guy says ''i loved her. without her im nothing'' which shows how much he loves and misses her.

this song is inspired by what i heard on youtube, a lofi track. i think the beauty of it is that it gives off a sad yet calming vibe. also, it kind of have a low-quality recording which makes it stands out from the others as it is interesting. most people will tend to have flawless recording where there are no mistakes in every note and every beat, which sort of (imo) removes the character of the song.
the bad-quality of the song i made is sort of a reminder of the human element within a person, which makes it interesting.

this song is about a girl who lost her memory and is trying to regain back her memory.

my idea of this song is dark and lost hence i deliver it by using an organ patch which sounds sad. towards the end of a song, there was a conversation of a girl and her doctor which says, 
''i try to remember, but when everything is coming back to me i feel that my memory is paralysed.''
''now lets see whats the last thing that you can remember?'' 
''i dont know.''
& 
''everything's gonna be alright sweetheart'' 

after midi-ing down, i bounced & reversed the track. the reason why i reversed it is because it represents the flashback of the girl's memory, of the memory ''coming back'' to her.

my song differs from others as it has a chill vibe yet it sounds sad and lost. by having a chill vibe, it shows that the doctor is trying to help her representing that everything is going to be alright. it sounds sad and lost as the girl cant remember anything. also, i used the reversing effect and also adding conversations in the song which makes it sound more interesting and made the mood of the song sadder.

recently, i have been hearing songs on youtube which are beats to relax/study to and i really liked it as i like the sad vibes it gives out. i was inspired to make this kind of song for this week's prow, a relaxing song that gives out the sad vibe.

usually such songs are heard at night as it is a timing where most people are alone and think the most, which explains the rain sound at the beginning which shows a cold lonely night and the breathing sound heard (overthinking) hence it is titled 3:31 (am). what stands out from other songs is that the loop is looped over and over again. also, i did not focus much on the technical quality and instead capture a rawer form of a musical idea.

3 : 3 1 - prow wk 6

this song is about a scene of what is going through the girl's mind after she called someone she love through the payphone to apologise after she did something wrong.

 it differs from others as theres the sound of a telephone in the beginning and what is going through her mind afterwards when the call did not go through. the chords of this song was also reversed in the beginning which gives an interesting effect to the song.

the repetitiveness of the melody means that she is asking herself questions over and over again inside her head. in the beginning of the piece, it starts with a put coin in payphone kinda sound followed by the dial. then there was a sigh as the character knew that he will not forgive her (by not picking up the call) and then it follows by repetitive melody where she kept asking herself questions.
