Stormy Dark Clouds - brief Moonlight

Refractions of Cerulean Memories is a brief impression of sea and summer, filtered through childhood memory. A light breeze breaks the surface into flickering greens and blues, and a phrase emerges — airy and gently off-kilter — evoking, to my ears, the distant sound of an ice-cream van on a Mediterranean afternoon. But nostalgia gives way to sharp angles, recalling sunbaked rocks, risk, salt and blood. Shifting textures and meters reflect light in motion — playful, fractured, and fluid, offering fragments of a coastline that shaped more than just my early years.

We would like to thank all of the artists/producers for lending their passion, talent and unique creative vision to this remix album. We released the stems in the summer of 2016 and we were blown away by the range of interpretations and complete reimaginings of our work. It was an exciting and humbling process for us. Ditirambo - Psychedelia

A main feature in my work output as a composer and sound artist is the use of different styles as a structural element on the same level as melody, harmony, rhythm and texture. This pluralistic approach very often leads to the use of multiple styles within a single composition either in quick succession or even simultaneously.
