Live at October 2016 Moontribe

This set was shortly after sunrise before Brad Moontribe and after some breakbeats from Myad (aka Brandon Vasquez). It’s great being able to play some really heady music (my favorite) with this scene, there’s not many places I can play certain heady music styles and the desert is the only place I play many of these songs. Many of my own songs I have only played in the desert with this scene because it’s the only place I feel they are appropriate for out of the places I have played out in my life.

Bio:

Medular is a minimal psychedelic glitch project from Mexico City which has emerged from the union of Brun González (a.k.a. Brun Balanced) and Pablo Peniche (a.k.a. Xom Pax).

It drives from experimenting with live synths and hypnotic jam sessions that coalesce into beautifully evolving tracks and elegant acid beats.

This aesthetic comes from trying to bring the psychedelic glitch Spirit into minimal techno in a more free and experimental way that is alive and breaths from the interaction of the digital and analogue entities.

While looking to bring back the analogue modular-esque sound generating sequencer based tunes, Medular makes use of the many ways of sculpting noise and Worshiping the Glitch.
