Winter mind of Imagery, (envisioning)
entertaining rhymes of misery.
Lines describe an empty sea.
The page, a stage. So look at me!
"Why are my eyes watery?"
I try to lie, but I'm struggling to breathe
I'm choking on a simile:
All this TIME is like a fleeting stream!

I struggle to remember how the puddles went forever.
We were younger. More together. Then came trouble in the weather.
The skies are getting darker now.
Inevitably BLACK. 
Will line the tide of time 
reminding us,
sure as shackles.

Keep in mind 
the grand design.
A leap in time 
would land a LIE.

I jumped into the river,
I couldn't swim upstream.
I watched confusion flicker-
Finally! Out of center scene!

Reach into the darkness.
Harness all your sorrow.
Teach it to be heartless, you'll be better off tomorrow.
Speak of why your kneeling.
Release what your feeling!
Preach it to the ceiling.
Leap and leave it. Do ya feel me?

The path of understanding is preceded by a 
“Why?”
Its wrath is reprimanding as commanding as a 
“Lie.”

it's my belief, that opportunity can come to you, can come to me, 
eventually, may come to be what finally can set you free.

won't conform to what surrounds me 
i am scorned from those around me
bring me down, no crown bequeaths me
i'm bound to what's beneath me

exist! this thing called destiny
persist! may my dream come to be
what's this that's trapped? but must be free
i wish, believe, i truly need
to set my sails, repay my debts

I contemplate my great escape

don't ask for praise
i tell myself
may come one day

hindsight is not misleading, so advice is worth the time-
to listen to the preachings from an avarice-wrought mind.
insatiable desire! higher up i'll take myself.
i'll cheat. i'll be a liar. i'm forsaken for my WEALTH.

awakened is this fire inside making me desire
(so much) MORE than just a simple life, i strive to be much higher
than just an average Joe, who knows there'll be no day
that he'll ever get to play inside his dreams from yesterday!

no way! that path is NOT ok! my fire burns too bright!
to be idle just one day ain't playin' my cards right.
i must play tight. gotta win it. this game will someday end.
and when it ends, you bet i'm in it. since i'm pushin' you ALL IN!

even though he feels alone, no one forces him to open,
or coerces him to hoping there's really no evil omen.
-but hopes anyway. he still thinks there's a chance!
this devils dance resembles chivalry.. mindful advance-
is necessary, because the gameplay demands-
a path of ingenuity. he needs a master plan!
he needs to be intuitive. eyes on the prize, mike!
set your sights. be true to it. avoid the lies, the skies might-
catch your eye and seem so true. aim too high, get nothing new.
disguised the sky it lied in blue. your only guide abandons you.

clear as day the art it might suffice to say the darkest night
might be okay and shed some light on what's decayed to set it right
walk with haste and clarity and talk the ways no gallows see
once lost in pace with fractured steed the cost is weighed in fallacy

madness seeks not understood, is glad to seep in where it could
then grab your dreams, and plot, and push you to believe under your hood's
not what it seems, your thoughts careen, your wings get clipped, the pain unseen
anger brings its broken wings, your lids are flipped, your thoughts: obscene
we're angry at the world, we turned our backs to make our future
still deranged, but more intact, broken wings make flying unsure
yet we try, who cares whos listenin, you'll listen when we die
we'll look up and clench our fists, wishing someone tell us why
the future that we covet, it seems too far away
and we're floating just above it, fleeting further every day
floating faster towards the future and we cannot change the pace

I know that I'm not far from absurdity.
You don't have to tell or say a word to me.
I'm losin' it. I swear to god I feel unlike myself.
I cannot seem to find my mind. I feel like someone else.

Though when I try to concentrate, I feel that I could focus-
My mind tears this page apart when I invoke my Swarm of Locusts.
Though I speak this slow, it is for a proper reason.
Recently, my soul has been chilln' close to freezin'

While it's there- to speak my mind's ridiculously pleasin'
In it, if I can't express myself, I'm committing treason-
on one of the things that I've found that can stimulate my hunger-
for an outlet. You forget that I'm not getting any younger!

My appetite is growing more- 
while I'm looking for an outlet.
If I'm forced to bottle all this up- 
it will only make me shout it.

Proof of the torturous, scorcher-us brain-waves. 
Containing arrays of the words that I least crave.
Projected in ways portrayed by pen-to-paper stains-
will help to heal what's broken more than if it's simply spoken.

I'm resisting these demons-
though they refuse to be uncloaked.
The persistence of their screaming- 
leaves my fire inside soaked.

You must uncover the demon's den- 
In your head, with a pad and a pen.
Only then- 
can you get the fire burnin' again!

If you let all these thoughts run wild in your brain-
Nothing's there to tame them you will simply go insane!
These thoughts that you've managed to hide don't even need a key-
to be released from this prison- you've created, basically.

It is composed of self-defense and fear, but mostly just denial.
All the shit that bothers you accrues into a pile.
Though to write this down is kind of like taking away their guns.
Take control and defeat them! The weight off of you is tons!

i write to shed light, when the dark takes my sight,
i write to enlighten myself with the fight
with insight now known from where i wouldn't roam
till i finally showed me i know i'm alone -
in the pursuit of dreams that might never occur
i'm already 19, all my dreams were absurd!
every word, every page, though it's slightly deranged
if unheard and left caged, ill shine brightly with rage!

Life is rapey. it's betrayed me.
