Ballad arrangement of Dragon Force (yes, that one) for Tempest Winds (Indoor Marching Winds). Show was a favorite until COVID.

Written for an ensemble of roughly ten members.

An updated version of "The Hero Arrives!" from The Game Soundtrack! - A soundtrack to a game that doesn't exist! I plan on going through the soundtrack and updating each track's nostalgia version as well as a creating a "modern" version for each.

Do you like original music for drum corps? Do you like it played back by synthesizers better left in the 1980s? Then this is for you! Originally a sketch started for possible use by the Railmen Drum and Bugle Corps, and now something out of an '80s action movie. 

A Return To ACTION - Opening Scene

I am a Nebraska native, growing up in Bellevue and attending Bellevue West High School. After high school, I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as a Regent Scholar and graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Instrumental Performance on Euphonium under Craig Fuller. From there I remained at UNL to earn my Master of Music Degree in Composition under the guidance of Dr. Eric Richards. During my six years at UNL I was a part of many organizations, including Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia-Upsilon Chapter, Golden Key International Honour Society, Pi Kappa Lambda-Beta Chapter, and Society of Composers, Inc.-UNL Chapter. I also hold a Master of Science Degree in Nonprofit Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, and am the co-founder of the Arbor Arts Collective nonprofit in Nebraska.

Aside from performing with many groups at the university, I was also a member of the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps for three years as well as a member of their instructional staff for one year. Over the years I have also helped teach the bands at Lincoln Southeast High School, was an Adjunct Instructor in Music at Nebraska Wesleyan University, a subsitute teacher for Lincoln Public Schools, and the Director of Instrumental Activities at Midland University. I have also previously served as the instrumental music instructor and associate dean at Central Community College. I am currently working as an administrator for Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in addition to arts involvement in the RVA community. 

I am a member of ASCAP as a composer and publisher.
