About...


With 2012 came The Willers Brothers, Liam and Sean Willers. Originally from the northern city of Manchester, these two have journeyed right down the country and ended up in London. Being siblings and living together, naturally their first venue was their lounge, starting on a small mp3 mixer to now mixing on Cdj's in some of the biggest clubs in London. Being devotees to Tech House, Techno and Minimal, The Willers Brothers have strong influences; Marco Carola, Richie Hartin, Luciano and Carlo Lio. Following a summer in Ibiza the pair of techno loving DJs have been playing all over Essex and London. The diary has been full of sets at well known venues like EGG, Pacha, Ministry of Sound,The Warehouse and Covert as well as playing on nights such as What Matters, Bodymove, PPFM, X and Santo Vida. With more sets on the horizon in the Uk and Europe and have already supported the likes of Ramon Tapia, Jay Lumen, Sebatein Leger and Derrick Carter to name a few things are looking good for the audacious duo.

This weeks instalment of Obscure Sessions started at a slightly earlier from 8pm as we welcome Femmes Fatales Co-founder & Limited Records Co-Owner @Demika to Trafik for a chat and a long awaited 2 hour guest mix on @HoxtonFM 

Biography
Demika has always had a keen passion for underground Techno and House music. She sank into the scene around 2009 and has been playing in clubs and bars all over London and Europe since. In 2013 and with the help of 2 good friends, she founded Femmes Fatales London, a female DJ only night already successfully established in Oslo. 
She's also the co-owner of Limited Records, a physical release only label that will be launching early 2014.
Her live sets are always packed with floor-fillers and thumping tracks going from deep bassline tech house to deep techno but without losing her experimental edgy side. With each day passing, Demika is becoming more and more an accomplished DJ and certainly developing her very own unique style.

Here is the recording of my 2 hour set and my last gig for 2018.
Complete with mistakes, and even some technicals with the equipment but I don't mind. I had an amazing time with the crowd, our residents and of course our special guest for the evening 'Under Black Helmet'.
This set features pretty much all of my favourite tracks from artists/labels past and present, including many others that I have played religiously throughout the year along with some my own productions.

Anthony Segree has been experimenting with various forms of electronic music as a DJ since 1995 and started experimenting with production of various forms of House & Techno around 2012. Known both for his hypnotic and high-octane sets, he’s a comfortable and confident selector capable of creating an intense vibe and journey for any crowd at any given time.

Years spent honing skills playing vinyl in his earlier years have allowed him to become creative, versatile and most importantly, ultra-confident playing with any format he chooses to transmit his message to the listener with ease.

With a long list of appearances at pretty much all notable venues across London, UK, and some guest appearances from Europe to North Africa, here is one artist to keep a close eye on in the future.
