🎵 – THE GARDEN AWAKENS (NEW TRACK)

Taken by the surrounding nature of my home and Scotland, I was inspired to compose this new track called ‘The Garden Awakens’ depicting the awakening of life in a garden. Due to the incredible warm, sunny weather that Scotland has had I have been able to go out more and to connect more with nature.

When it came to instrumentation and orchestration of this piece, I was inspired by a handful of film composers, namely Hans Zimmer, Rob Simonsen, Steven Price, Harry Gregson-Williams and James Newton-Howard.

Epilogue

"The Two of Us" (2020), this is a soundtrack consisting of two contrasting ideas: one theme depicting daytime and the other theme, night-time, these themes are used as a metaphor to describe two different characters and stages of the day.

During one of the hardest years, 2020 was a year full of many challenges. Whilst the Covid-19 restrictions limited the ways that we could interact face-to-face, for me it was a time (and still is) a time of reflection and exploring new ways of collaborating and creating new projects.

One of the outcomes of last year’s Covid-19 lockdown was the short piano work called ‘Unity’ that I penned down in March/April last year. At a difficult time when a lot of music-making was constrained and the whole world struggled with the Coronavirus outbreak, I felt that I had to reflect my feelings on the situation onto paper. ‘Unity’ was what came to fruition.

THE CUBE TUBE – 'SPRING' COMPOSITION COMPETITION (2021)

Anthony is a multimedia composer and conductor based in Scotland. Over the past three years Anthony has worked with various directors and filmmakers and most recently worked on an album recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London.

Anthony has collaborated and worked alongside, Royal composer, Professor Paul Mealor in the production of global virtual productions: Stronger for the Storm and Song of the Ocean (the latter a UN-endorsed activity) and worked alongside the world-renowned Philharmonia Orchestra, under the baton of Michael Collins MBE.

His filmography ranges from short indie films to short documentaries, short dramas and horror. Amongst his latest works Anthony scored the music to the short film (directed by Karolína Smolova), 'The Great Conjunction' which since its completion received multiple awards and won the Prague Film Festival in the autumn of 2022.
