So proud and thankful for how well everything went at Halcyon for my opening set last Saturday! The crowd was lively and the system was booming! @Brujadj killed it with the warm up and @archiehamiltonmusic straight knocked em' dead.

I'm proud to share with you a clip of this magical evening! It's one of my first all minimal tech house live sets and I hope it helps to provide an insight into some of my favorite artists in the scene, and why I feel that Archie is such an international icon.

elle fast is a dance floor loiterer/supporter/promoter who very much enjoys the deep connections enabled through music.

with significant organic support developing in the prairies and western canada, elle brings infectious rhythms to whatever dance party she's captaining. a firm believer that music should hit you in both heart and lower body, her sets weave through assorted shades of house, techno, and breaks, often held together by a thick bassline and/or generous helping of machine funk.

current projects and affiliations include music for bathtubs, a monthly mix series focusing on chill/leftfield sounds; and pan-tone, a DIY collective of hardware and live techno enthusiasts.

By day, she is the Executive Director of End of Life Choices Oregon, where she employs years of experience in nonprofit development to guide the mission of the organization. By night however, Krista has become a leader in the local dance music community as well, consistently spinning anywhere from festivals like SOAK and SHIFT, to clubs like the North Warehouse, The Den, and No Requests, until their doors closed.

One can wonder what connects these experiences. What is apparent however, whether it be in executive management or DJing, is Krista's demonstrated success through dedication, and understanding how to formulate the most effective approach possible.

Dark Heart Disco is a sonic exploration of Dark Disco, Industrial, Synthpop, Italo Disco, EBM, and New Beat in the format and context of rave music by Serious Soul resident djs Brian Busto and Rat Galactic.

This mix is a sneak peek into what a later hour mixed by Busto may sound like. All these tracks have been played at previous DHD nights. 

Dark Heart Disco takes place at The Catacombs in Tampa every 4th Thursday of the month from 7pm-1am.
