About Russian Roulette visual :
Being concious of how prevalent the issue of anxiety is in our society, I wanted to create art that those who suffer from anxiety could see themselves in. I want people to know that you don't have to struggle in silence or battle your demons alone. Since the hip hop scene is dominated by substance abuse and those who self medicate as a way to cope with trauma and tragedy, I wanted to highlight this dynamic by showing that behavior that the culture deems as "cool" is often really a cry for help. The bigger message is that I hope we can all recognize that help is available, and there are healthier ways to deal with stress and anxiety.

Dunnï's first offering of the new year, "Goofies", serves as a hard hitting return to form for the Montreal based artist. Capturing that magical feeling when you realize it's ok to wave your middle finger at the haters and be who you are destined to be, the triumphant anthem features Dunnï lyrically ripping into those who doubted his talent and vision as he claims his rightful seat at the head of the table. Growling over lush horns and banging drums, Dunnï warns all the fake friends and family that tried to use him for his shine, that they will soon realize that his light cannot be dimmed.  

The record is seminal for Dunnï, as it was created at a time in which he realized he was allowing himself to be exploited by people with ill intentions, because of his commitment to passionate collaboration and the creation of inspiring art:  "I was one of those people and I decided this has to stop! The record producer in me is always looking for the next artist or project with potential that I can help develop, but I realized that those pursuits should never go before myself. Sometimes you have to say "No" to helping someone else if it's only going to hurt you, and saying this often made me realize that people take their masks off and show their true intentions when they don't get the answer they've been looking for. No amount of money or fame is worth my peace of mind and self care. These type of individuals are clowns, they're Goofies. Only way to deal with them is to laugh with them or at them...they wont see the difference as their only goal is to use your energy without giving back anything in return.

Dunnï's much anticipated second offering of 2018, “LBRN", is a smooth and hypnotic banger that features Dunni claiming his position in the rap hierarchy. Ruminating on the trials and triumphs that have led to this moment, the infectious track shows Dunni at full confidence, ready to take on all challengers. 

"I feel everybody wants to be Jordan in this rap game, but it's a new era now. I'm still young, competing with the best, and am still working to push the limits of my talents. I remember when I was on the grind traveling back and forth to Atlanta, having DTP CEO Chaka Zulu stick his head into our recording session, saying: "Who the fuck is that?". The validation was priceless, but I want to also win back home!" 

Though Dunni is bilingual, he's conscious of the language divide that seems to split the music scene back home. "Everybody acts like there's no room for an English rap star here because that's not the first language. I feel like this is a discredit to the french speaking fans in the area, because they are in tune with the English rap scene, and routinely sell out venues featuring American acts, singing along word for word!

I'm also a "Frenchie", and I think it's actually a great advantage! To prove that, I'm ready to outwork everyone, put out the best music, and spread love; and I believe I will really shift the conversation within the culture." 

After spending the last four years working behind the scenes, Dunni came to realize the energy he was putting into other acts were best reserved for himself. "People don't understand how much work it takes to really fucking win, to really be the best. They want to be treated like a star, but they don't put in the time, they don't put in the blood, sweat, and tears. Anybody can fake an image, but there's no replacing dedication, discipline, and sacrifice. Navigating failure and adversity is the only true way to become a champion. 

For me, Lebron embodies all of these things. He's always been in the spotlight, and faced the most pressure. He has an all around game that effects every facet of play, and I also have an obsession for excellence: I've dedicated my entire life to improving my craft, and becoming efficient in every phase of the artistic process. The song isn't so much about Lebron, but what he represents: an individual striving for the greatness he is destined for, no matter the odds. 

He's an inspiration, and I hope to inspire with this record. I want you to feel how I feel. And I feel like LBRN."

Dunnï, formerly known as Dunny Brazz, is a Montreal based recording artist. Growing up on the south shore of the cultured city, he went on to become one half of the production group T.O.1.C (There's Only 1 Crown) under the Nuthin But Hit's L.L.C imprint. The dynamic production team is a multi-faceted outfit whose sound spans the entire spectrum of music, including, but not limited to: Hip Hop, R&B, Rock, and Pop. 

Among the few names they have since produced tracks for are international acts such as: 50 Cent & G-unit, Sat of Fonky Family, French Montana, Masspike Miles, Hitmaka aka Yung Berg, and hip hop legends such as KRS One and Buckshot; as well as local superstars Muzion, Souldia, Taktika, and many more. These early successes only grew the hunger among the members of T.O.1.C, and Dunni began to mastermind a plan that would finally put him at the forefront where he belonged. 

This culminated with his release of OG's Dream, his first studio album; his critically acclaimed debut appeared in stores across Canada, featuring singles that played on international platforms such as Much Music, Music+, and Much Vibe/Stingray Vibe, for over a year. However, Dunni's meteoric rise to local super stardom also came with unforeseen pressures and tragedies, and Dunni found himself struggling emotionally, even in the midst of the success he'd dreamed of his entire life.  After turning down tepid major label record deals, the disbanding of the original team behind his debut, and the sudden loss of his father, Dunni suffered from a series of anxiety and panic attacks that ultimately resulted with him in the emergency room; and a prolonged break from the music scene. 

Dunni has lamented the ups and downs of his journey in the past, but all the trials and tribulations have only served to make him stronger, and inspired him to help those around him. Dedicated to creating his own lane, and using his story to inspire others to do the same, Dunni has returned to the music landscape with his most dynamic work to date.  

Enter AntiAnXy, an anti anxiety movement created by Dunni that is dedicated to creating divine vibrations and experiences that will give people across the world the power to fight through the pain and obstacles life throws at you; helping them heal themselves so that they may continue to grow and prosper as human beings.
