Lobularia is the result of a creative process that took months of work in the studio. With an obsessive dedication to structure, detail, and sound design, Jor-G Tortosa has shaped a project where every synthesizer and every rhythmic layer was crafted until reaching its own identity.
The EP delivers three intense and direct cuts, moving between hypnotic atmospheres and raw textures, reflecting the most underground essence of Beat Addiction Trax. “Lobularia” opens with mysticism and power, “Fade to Detune” dives into darker and destabilizing ground, while “Sustance” closes with a visceral pulse built for the dance floor.

Lobularia es el fruto de un proceso creativo que ha llevado meses de trabajo en el estudio. Con una dedicación obsesiva a la estructura, los detalles y el diseño sonoro, Jor-G Tortosa ha dado forma a un proyecto donde cada sintetizador y cada capa de ritmo han sido moldeados hasta alcanzar una identidad propia.
El EP despliega tres cortes intensos y directos, que viajan entre atmósferas hipnóticas y texturas crudas, reflejando la esencia más underground de Beat Addiction Trax. “Lobularia” abre con fuerza y misticismo, “Fade to Detune” se adentra en terrenos oscuros y desestabilizadores, mientras que “Sustance” cierra con un pulso visceral diseñado para la pista.
Más que un simple lanzamiento, este trabajo representa un ciclo de exploración y búsqueda personal que consolida a Jor-G Tortosa como una de las voces inconfundibles dentro del techno underground español

Today we go back in time for 10 years again, to a well known club in Berlin, where I celebrated the 10 Years Anniversary of my label CLR, and guess what - also played for 10 hours. Can´t believe that this is already 10 years ago really. Still kind of remember that night/day very well, especially the magic moments during the party and also very specially at the end, when I played that DJ Hell track. With me on that night playing were Traversable Wormhole, @sanhajimastering Brian Sanhaji, @tommyfourseven_47 and @monoloc_official  until I finished off the night/day with my closing set. These are memories that are ingrained in my brain and I surely hope we can soon do this again. So this week it´s the eighth hour of this set. The rest will be coming in the following couple of weeks. For Antwerp based Phemia, music has always played a big role in life. Her dad runs a musical instrument store so naturally, she learnt various instruments throughout her childhood. The piano was the main instrument of choice. In her teenage years, electronic music entered the equation. Her passion for techno was built dancing nights away in Belgium’s clubs. Artists like DVS1 and Surgeon, amongst others, were big inspirations for her.

In Roman Mythology Virgil wrote: “She had her feet on the ground and her head in the clouds. Making the small seems great and the great seems greater.”

Expect a strong, danceable, energetic techno experience from the talented Phemia.
