For this week’s podcast we invited Dutch JSPRV35. He started playing about a year ago, inspired by the likes of Glenn Wilson, The Advent and Blawan. He has developed his own style, characterized by fast, loopy 90s techno and more recent 90s inspired groovy techno. He recently started producing, making big steps in a small period of time. You definitely want to keep an eye on him.

@isaiahtechno is an Amsterdam based DJ & Producer who is mainly inspired by the freedom and energy that electronic music holds within. 

As an old-school music lover since his younger age, he now finds excitement in playing vinyl only, using mainly old-school flavored grooves for his productions and mixes, which usually contain a high level energy. 

As an artist, Isaiah is always pushing himself to learn and grow, and seek for the yet undiscovered. As one of the @frenzynl crew owners, Isaiah also holds a DJ residency at Frenzy.

Esoterik and dxrvo are DJ and Producer from Germany, Hannover. They run a label called Kollektiv Synergie with friends. There they release every Thursday a podcast series with international artists. also you can find some releases there. Esoterik stands out for fast and driving techno. dxrvo loves hypnotic, groovy and fast minimalistic techno. The mix is a mixture of both. Esoterik has made some releases on Synergie. From dxrvo you can find some mixes and releases on various labels.

Sacha Treasure aka Mikrotakt is a producer/DJ and resident of Tbilisi based DifferentSound Records.

A London native who grew up in the deep forest of Sweden - This raw groove dealer has already released on the likes of Cantical Records, Catalog 01366, Trau-ma and the aforementioned DifferentSound. With more big releases planned for the rest of the year, there's no sign of slowing down.

From the age of 14 Sacha has been learning his way around DAWs and electronic music, experimenting with old school hip hop. Coming from a very musical background his family encouraged creativity - Learning many instruments throughout his childhood from violin to piano.

Sacha later fell in love with the underground rave scene and the sound of Techno. Since then he has gotten involved where he can and developed his sound.

Mikrotakt can be identified as raw, percussive and groovy. His hybrid sets deliver pounding rhythms full of energy.

This week we invited Franklin S, a 22 years old producer, DJ and member of the collectives Loopstage & Holle Club, based in Madrid.⁠

His sound is focused on hypnotic, groovy and old school rhythms. Recently, he released on notable labels such as DifferentSound, Beluga Tracks and NO-ID. This has led to his tracks being supported by artists with the likes of Vladimir Dubyshkin, MARRØN and Léa Occhi to name a few.⁠

ANTIDOTE PODCAST 053: FRANKLIN S

For the first mix of the year we have producer & DJ William Arist. The Uruguayan artist has been involved in music since the young age of 11 and has refined his sound of Techno over the past years. Last week he released on Frenzy with a remarkable EP and his own imprint Perseverancia is a steady source of the timeless sound we all love. We also strongly admire him for his initiative of raising money for the Amazon with the album Basquade. A storytelling album with a spiritual context.

We are very happy to have to have William on the series with a mix solely of his own productions. A mix that showcases his eclectic production style with a driving and focused take on the sound.
