We're pleased to welcome back Bimol and Jauri to Illegal Alien. This is their debut EP on the label, both returning after their last contribution as the duo Bimol and also as Jauri by himself on our latest Deported Series: Twelve compilation, released last February; this time, Bimol and Jauri mixed styles and made another powerful release titled 'Kannibal,' and we are more than proud to present you this fantastic four-track EP from the Colombian duo. Solar Drift EP is a sonic exploration of Earth's primal forces in constant motion. Inspired by Sardinia’s geological history and subterranean landscapes, the EP channels the raw energy of shifting terrains, flowing waters, and unseen networks beneath the surface. Through hypnotic rhythms and deep, textural sound design, each track captures a different natural movement—solar winds, river currents, fungal growth, cosmic turbulence, and the pressure of volcanic rock.
