Pussy Mothers is the behaviour of a cross continental two piece from Scotland and Down Under: formed by waving not drowning. 

Chasing percussions, vocal athletics and hand claps concocted into a platter of disco junk funk and early hip hop rhythms, The Number 1 EP took shape in Glasgow's tenement flats and came to life through a spaced out echo party held at Green Door Studios.

Five  track 12" EP (and digital release) released on August 19th 2016. Distributed by Kompakt.

FAHRENHEIT by SEBASTOPOL

KUMP is delighted to release the first EP by HLM38, the naughty half of duo Ricco and member of the Notte Brigante crew from Lyon. The three original tracks, a mix of ethnic looting and industrial racket in slow motion, feel like steel wrapped in Turkish delight. Front de cadeaux’s take on “Illicite Cong” is reminiscent of an erotic rave flavoured with Oriental spices. Last but not least, Kris Baha slices up “Exit” like a tablier de sapeur (local Lyonnais dish) served on a julienne of  syncopated samples and noisy beats.

Midday Moon is a survey of ambient and experimental music that emerged from Australia and New Zealand between 1980 and 1995. These recordings are sourced from a rich variety of micro-labels, private pressings, theatre soundtracks and artists’ personal archives.

Curated by Melbourne based DJ and archivalist, Sanpo Disco (a.k.a Rowan Mason), the collection delves deep into the world of outsider music that emerged in Australia and New Zealand in the latter half of the twentieth century, as synthesisers and early workstations began to enter the consumer marketplace.
