Antippode is what happens when two drifters from the farthest corners of a continent fortuitously meet halfway in a random island. Antippode is the convergence of two harmonic and diametric forces under the Mediterranean sun. Antippode is about the unexpected, the sharing and the flow of things.

Antippode's machine-based electronic music performance combines arranged sequences with a great deal of live improvisation in order to generate the rich textures and compelling rhythms that define their distinctive sound.

Delving into the boundaries of their hardware synths, samplers, stomp-boxes and other unlikely paraphernalia, the Russian-Portuguese duo uncovers sonic realms that may emerge under the shape of high-voltage techno live performances, as they may present themselves under the guise of dreamy, otherworldly sound design works for drama, dance or new media.
