Inspired by peak-time hour clubbing in Brooklyn, Makem is pumping, infectious, and ready to turn the heat up to 11. This is also a special release for Tone Troy as it's his first outing on Simma Black. 

About the track, Ant LaRock said "This collaboration came so naturally. After a long weekend out together (before covid), Tone & I wanted to create a track that really packed a punch, and killed it on any dance floor”.

American dance music legend Roland Clark returns to Get Physical Music with 'All My Friends,' a massive house anthem that taps into the feelings everyone who has ever been to a club is currently feeling. Ant LaRock also steps up with a special Sunset Remix. 

Clark is a Get Physical regular whose last outing was 'WTF!' an anti-racist statement with label mates Roland Leesker, DJ Pierre, Phuture, and Chris Liebing. His most celebrated track, 'I Get Deep,’ has also been remixed on the label and is one of many essential tunes from the acclaimed writer and vocalist. Others have come on Strictly Rhythm, Defected, and Skint Records, and each one brings real house depth, warmth, and soul with prescient lyrics and unrivaled authenticity. 

This fantastic new single is another case in point. Built around a sure-to-become iconic vocal refrain from Clark himself, he sings 'I can't wait to see all my friends again,' with the same gusto and unique sense of grainy soul that has made him such a mainstay over the years. Bustling house beats and tribal drums, rising synths, and edgy fills create an irresistible sense of energy that builds to a peak and will blow up any dancefloor. 

Remixer Ant LaRock is a contemporary face who has been championed by greats like Kenny Dope and Armand van Helden, with whom he has also collaborated. He is a Grammy-nominated artist and here he flips the tune into a more stripped-back track with plenty of pent-up energy. His steely synths and the chopped-up vocal keep you locked before warm synth sequences arrive and bubble with late-night soul.

'Alkebulan' by Ant LaRock & Roland Clark gets the remix treatment from David Mayer. David Mayer’s remix takes inspiration from the African vocal and injects it into the rhythm section, with off-beat snare hits driving the track forward as shakers stutter away. A huge, soaring breakdown is decked out with synth beauty that spills over into the drop but is wisely restrained from anything too overblown. Well-positioned FX whirrs and spins around your head while the lead riff pans around in similarly dizzying fashion.
Todd Terry protégé Ant LaRock has provided some gems for Exploited previously in the form of ‘Grown Ups’ and ‘When’, and this latest effort with house legend Roland Clark on vocals could be his strongest effort to date.
