Based in Brighton, @parryy is a music producer, sound designer, and DJ who fuses together a hybrid of UK club sounds with his own field and bird recordings.

Bird song forms the basis of inspiration for his music, and pairing this with his love of software plugins, hours are spent creating completely new sounds that spark initial ideas.

Debuting in 2022 on Scuffed Recordings with his collaboration with fellow Brighton producer Tamlin on the breaks-focused ‘Rush’, his first solo EP Ashdown / Wren moves his sound into a different direction.

Ashdown takes the form of a UK-techno-inspired roller, with dense rhythms and percussion throughout. The B-side titled ‘Wren’ brings the BPM down with its ethereal pads and dancehall-inspired rhythms.

Eduard Batyrbekov was born in 1996 in Northern Kazakhstan. He is of mixed Kazakh and Ukrainian origin. For a decade, music has been an important part of his life. He has hosted underground techno/electro/D’n’B/breaks/psy trance raves in Kazakhstan. He produced his first work in 2013, since then he has had a few active periods and a few lengthy breaks, when he switched to playing music and DJ activities. He spent his late teens and early 20s in the United Kingdom, his mid 20s in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and now lives in Moscow, Russia. In late 2024, he launched a fresh chapter, creating tracks in DAWs free from genre constraints. He is still learning. He’s a hobbyist musician.
