Thanks to my friend Sethesin for the drums, harmony vocals and Roy Orbison solo. I've tried this song a load of times before and since, but I never enjoyed it as much as this recording. 

Oisín was a dreamer who lived for hundreds of years in a far off land called Tír Na Nóg. It was said that whoever reached that country would never grow old. 

Eventually he grew tired and jaded; he felt nostalgic and wanted to return to the land of his childhood, even if it caused unhapiness for himself and others. And so unable to continue living in a dream, he departed.
