I made this one short and simple, with just an emotional cello in Dmin and an inverted string drone.
I did experiment with some new plugins though, using a gatestep on a doubling of the strings, along with some distortion, to make the 'broken' signal sound.

I bit the bullet and tried to do compound measure track. I basically randomly chose 9/8 and even if the metronome ran fast as Pacman in fever, I developed a slow melody. And this is what came out of it.
