This track is a rhythmical cycle of 7,5 beats with all sort of subdivisions. I play them here on kitchen percussion (with kitchen knives as sticks) and a wooden speaker (with my hands). Certainly the structure is inspired by Indian rhythms.
On top of that Miriam Overlach played an improvisation on  prepared harp (which is hard to recognize).

The Birds is a collaboration between Hisko Hulsing (who brought the, in my opinion, outstanding painting to the studio), me (improvising on image of the painting with electric 5 string violin + looper, Stroh violin, viola and some cello pizz notes) and Heidi Heidelberg (who added her mesmerizing vocals and lyrics!).
