We are starting this year with full power, on a massive collaboration between one of our favorite duos Sparrow & Barbossa, and polish singer Tosz featuring two remixes for their single 'Saudades do Mar' previously released by Redolent Music on the album 'Seven Seas'.

KEENE kicks off with a deep and trippy interpretation of the original. Some quite nasty vibes on this one. Stompy toms, unusual percussive rhythms, a wild heated melodic line and some acid to spice up the day complements the outstanding vocals in portuguese from Tosz, making it an outstanding remix to look up.

Brussels born and raised, Sifa joins the family with a remix that takes its cues from breaks, building through arpeggios and a more heavenly and melancholic sound, complemented by minor chords that are present in the mix. This version feels like a living, breathing thing that will readily consume any worthy dancefloor.

This a collaboration between Cacao Records and Redolent Music.

Long overdue we welcome @love-over-entropy back on Lossless. Michel’s Antipodes EP is slightly different than what you’d expect from him without sacrificing his deep and hypnotic trademark sound. Typically a Love over Entropy release would be full of little details, tiny rhythmical changes, plenty of automation and small breaks but this one is different hence the name Antipode. Draw a line from any place on Earth through the center of the Earth and its diametrically opposite would be its antipode. Do you still follow? Good!

Antipode I (My Discotom is bigger than yours) grows from the same seed as the original but reminds more of early Chicago house grooves and adds a spaced-out Discotom that beautifully guides through its 6:35. Endless groove.

Cuba, Get Physical! is a new various artists series curated by Cuban pair PAUZA. This EP features music from them, Okanan, Kike Wolf and Joan Coffigny.

The Get Physical label has spent much of it’s recent time partnering with local DJs and party crews around the world in a bid to build awareness around local scenes. Previous chapters have draw on the musical talents of Africa, India, Detroit & Croatia and now it is the turn of this most storied of musical islands to take it’s turn. Cuba, Get Physical!

The collection shines a light on the rich house sounds of the Caribbean country and kicks off with Havana's Pauza. Paula Fernandez and Zahira Seanchez's 'Caliente' is a sun-kissed, deeply musical house track with tender Spanish vocals from Cuban singer-songwriter Arema Arega. It is then Okana who offers 'Asere,' a stripped-back and shuffling house cut with a warm and oversized bassline. Gentle bell sounds and tinkling percussion detail the beats, as do rolling hand drums that instantly bring the Cuban vibes.

Kike Wolf is Enrique Maresma, a DJ and producer and one of the founders of the acid techno movement in Cuba. His 'Tropical Interference' is a lively cut run-through with fizzing synths, Afro drum patterns and jumbled percussion that brings irresistible Latin flair. Last of all is Havana's Joan Coffigny, an event organiser and key force in the scene with credits on labels like Confederation Records and Roland Ultra. He mixes up rich percussive patterns and scattered hits with Spanish vocal chants. The kinky house grooves are full of colour and emotion and bring a sunny feel to any set.

This is a fantastic taster of the rich array of underground sounds coming out of Cuba.

PREMIERE: Stereo Express & Lunar Plane - Babayani (Original Mix) [Love Matters]

Two debuts on the label with this outstandingly textured release, is London based producer Third Son, known for his releases with 17 Steps and also kick starting his own successful label Polymath, is joined by rising star Anii, a member of Kompakt family, she has been propelled into the limelight with her deeply emotive and highly creative studio craft.

 First up, their collab track ‘SEM’ is a robust, drum workout with detailed and unique touches. The thud of the 808 kicks perfectly matching the syncopation of the toms and the otherworldly FX transforming nuanced percussion into scattergun sonics. Growing in energy organically, its crescendo makes way for a perfect drop before powering right to the last beat.
