I wrote this song about 2 years ago and never finished it but it's finished now!

Peace

This song is about how sometimes we don't feel like our lives belong to us. We feel like we're living our lives according to what other people want for us or what society makes us feel we should want for ourselves. This is why I started posting my music, I want to take back at least part of my life.

I wrote this song about someone I met in France

Fever Dreams

This song is about Jezebel from the Bible. History portrays her as being pretty horrible when in reality she probably wasn't. She was just a woman who lived her life according to what she believed was right. Since history is told by men, she was most likely painted in a harsher light and used as an example for other women of what not to be. In the end Jezebel was killed and her body was eaten by wild dogs. She knew her assassinators were coming for her so before she died she put on her makeup. Many people view this as her final attempt to seduce her killers to evade death. A better interpretation is that this act was Jezebel's final stand; her makeup was her warpaint. Despite what she may or may not have done, Jezebel was a strong woman. Personally this song is about how some people may not like you no matter what you do; the only thing that matters is that you can live with yourself.

This song is about the time my 65 year old aunt snuck me and my underage sisters into a drag bar in Toronto on a Tuesday night. We met this great couple and spent the whole night dancing with drag queens. I had no expectations for what that night would be but it ended up being one of the best nights of my life.

Stranger

I wrote this song about a random person I met in a chem lab. It's about how sometimes you meet someone and when they look at you it feels like sunshine.
