Ondine Serpentine

Improvisation au piano un jour de brume, en janvier 2025, qui me renvoie à cette photo prise 24 ans plus tôt, en septembre 2001, en Chine, sur un sommet des Montagnes Jaunes, un jour de brume...

Sur la photo c'est Melanie, avec qui j'avais fait ce long voyage. Quelques mois après notre retour, pour mon anniversaire, elle m'offrait une boite à chaussures contenant toutes les photos que nous avions prises là-bas, avec écrite à la main sur le dos du couvercle une lettre qui commençait par ces mots:

"Le voyage en Chine était aussi un voyage dans le pays d'Antonin. Six semaines 24/7. Atelier: Expérimenter une autre approche à soi et au temps. Je le referai toujours."

Mélancolie douce XXVII

Il y a toujours eu un piano à la maison. Mon oncle Pascal en jouait parfois, ma mère à de rares occasions. Moi je n'ai jamais "appris", mais j'écoutais, m'aventurais parfois à pianoter quelques notes… Ce que j'ai continué à faire jusqu'à aujourd'hui, écouter beaucoup, pianoter un peu. Il y a toujours un piano ici qui ne sert pas beaucoup, avec sous chaque touche cette sorte d'émotion latente, particulière, au potentiel immense, qui ne demande qu'à être activée par un toucher sensible. Et cela tout le monde en est capable, musicien-ne ou pas. D'où cette idée de faire un mix spécial Piano Day, avec un maximum de contributions originales enregistrées pour l'occasion. J'ai lancé des invitations à participer, trouvé un bon micro à prêter - merci Yvan! - et enregistré quelques beaux moments, la plupart improvisés (ou presque). Parmi les participant-e-s, il y a des ami-e-s dont la musique n'est pas forcément la pratique principale (ou le piano pas forcément l'instrument de prédilection) et d'autres que je ne connais pas mais dont la musique m'a touché lors de mes pérégrinations internautiques... My mixtapes series Mélancolie douce becomes a monthly show on Radio Campus Brussels, 92.1 FM or https://www.radiocampus.be/ every first friday of the month from 10 to 11:30 AM !

Pour lancer cette émission mensuelle, petit retour en arrière avec l'épisode III. Composé il y a 7 ans, en pleine rupture amoureuse, quand on s'accroche désespérément à ce qu'on avait, et qu'on veut tout faire pour que l'amour perdure encore un peu, beaucoup, passionnément. Quitte à plonger tête la première au fond du gouffre, puis rejaillir, et replonger. Jusqu'à trouver un nouveau souffle, un nouvel apaisement. Et repartir.
