A cello, a room, the woods outside.
Antonio Cortesi came to Bosco Studio on a quiet afternoon in spring. No setlist, no second takes — just a few microphones and the air between them.

His music moves slowly, with care. It listens as much as it speaks.
Fragments, memories, songs half-remembered. Sometimes almost silence.

Recorded live at Bosco Studio, in the hills of Emilia-Romagna.

Antonio Cortesi is an off the grid cellist and composer in love with breaking boundaries. 

Beyond his classical background, he brought in his activity a strong influence from minimalism, experimental and neo-classical music.  

After graduating with full marks and honors in cello performance and chamber music, Antonio enlarged his vision collaborating with authors, dancers as well as theater directors and contemporary composers. 

He currently plays a cello built by Custode Marcucci in 1920 granted by his hometown municipality. 

A Delicate Revolution is the title of his first album and it's just the first step to reimagine the cello...
