In October 2024, bff Marco raved several times about Marconi Union. 

I was like "Marconi who?..."

After a brief research, it became clear that this was exactly my thing. Crazy, I’ve never heard before of this band, as they are more than two decades in the game.

Marconi Union are an English ambient music band formed in Manchester in 2003 by Richard Talbot and Jamie Crossley. In 2011, their live keyboardist Duncan Meadows became a full time member.

In November 2011, Marconi Union were featured in Time magazine's list of Inventors of the Year for recording "Weightless", describing it as "the world's most relaxing song"

Today, in March 2025, I've purchased most of their works to present their work to you with this fantastic mix: 

77 minutes of Marconi Union in one go. A wonderful journey for ambient chill-out, studying, background listening, or for whatever you’re up to ;-)

I’m not famous. I’m not a name you’ll find on big lineups, at least not yet.
I’m just someone who loves music deeply, and who’s been carrying records, cables, and hope since the '90s. I started in small clubs in southern Italy, and over time I’ve been lucky enough to play in places where people really listen. Today, I live in Ibiza, not for the glamour, but for the spirit this island holds. It taught me that music can be a quiet ritual, a subtle emotion, a space to breathe.
I play what moves me deep…Sounds with soul, not volume. I don’t have thousands of followers, but when I play, even if it’s for ten people, I give everything I have.
I don’t know where this path will lead. But I’m walking it with my head down, my ears open, and my heart in the right place. Maybe one day I’ll arrive, maybe not..but for now, I’m just grateful to still be playing.
