Three years after Reno Wurzbacher’s entry into the series, Cook Strummer now offers up his own Berlin Gets Physical, a collection of all-new and exclusive tracks.

This collection will come digitally but also as two different vinyl versions - one will be available publicly, the other is a special edition produced together with the Belgian gallery, Mazel Galerie. The cover art for it was designed by Lyon-based street artist, Brusk and the original will be auctioned by the same gallery in Brussels.

Berlin-based, Belgium-born Strummer has been a Get Physical associate for several years. He has dropped various singles including the standout 'Rising' which also featured on the Words Don't Come Easy series, and always crafts the perfect mix of rhythm and melody with plenty of hints of his homeland's famous cold wave sound. He often uses his own voice, drum machines, synths and guitars in his music, and since his debut album in 2018 on LOK Recordings, he has had high profile support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Adam Port and Ame. This summer, he dropped 'Atmosphere' on Obsolet Records which proved another successful outing and now Berlin Gets Physical finds him digging deep into the famous city's freshest and most essential house sounds across 15 well-sequenced tracks.

His own new offering 'For Berlin' kicks off with a dark and edgy vibe, gothic vocals and tense drums. Glitchy hits and blurting synths add to the prickly atmosphere and immediately lock you in while Los Cabra & Manuel Sahagun's 'Italian Groove' then takes off on waves of serrated dark disco synths and Freudenthal feat. Nowhere People continue that macho disco vibe with the rugged chug and cosmic rays of 'Cipher.'

The twinkling 'Bad Karma' by Marvin Jam & Le Mythe then allows you to catch your breath with a slower, more spacious dub disco sound and the twanging bass riffs and exotic effects of Daniel Jaeger & Valenti's 'Quarantine Cowboys' rebuilds the atmosphere with some innovative house blues. The mid-section brings brain-frying synth work on 'Out Of The Blue', bubbling dub house and disco courtesy of dramasquad's sprawling 'ziggy' and percussive deep house looseness from 'Abayomi.'

After KEENE's rubbery and rolling Afro sounds comes more cosmic house richness from Dan Buri and Max Joni & MUKKIMIAU, the driving tech of Red Pig Flower & Lulla and heady sounds of Mike Book. There is a raw house heaviness to FreedomB's 'State of Shock' and things shut down with Electronic Elephant's tightly coiled minimal drum funk on 'Ask Yourself'.

This on point collection is an authentic snapshot of the contemporary underground sound of the Berlin.

When he's not writing his PhD thesis, working on the frontlines of the global health crisis, teaching at one of Australia's top universities, scaling epic mountain peaks or rocking mainstage crowds at the country's best festivals, you'll find this renaissance man toiling away in his Brisbane studio crafting some of the finest melodic techno, progressive house and electronica to emerge from Down Under this decade.

Beginning its creation before the world shutdown and completed as it once again began opening its doors, Perspective is the end result of three years of production output during the most turbulent period of history in human memory. Effortlessly moving from driving, riff-driven dancefloor stormers to deep, hypnotic melodics, funky progressive and lush, atmospheric ambient with stunning live cello from classical and electronic star Wilma, this 12-track masterpiece is the perfect example of the full stylistic depth of the Aussie innovator and why we believe he is the future of Open Records.

In a time when social media, singles and streaming rule, an album might seem like a relic of physical media or when listeners had longer attention spans. But with its unique and cohesive sound yet brilliant diversity that draws the listener in deeper with every listen, Perspective is captivating from start to finish and worthy of the weight of this classic concept. In our first discussions with Will about releasing a full-length body of work, we told him if you're going to do a melodic techno and house album in a sound at its absolute global peak, you've gotta do it properly. Antonio Ponti is an Italian artist and founder of KILLER KICCEN, a real art factory and main alternative location of the Milanese scene.
Antonio Ponti is the director of his own shows. They are not simple parties, but a 360 ° experience with music, lights, video installations and special effects.
He has created successful formats in Italy such as VENDUTO, a DOSE of, PORT ROYAL p.c., THE GARDEN — ETC.
Getting in touch with different realities of the international music scene, he brings his shows around the world, sharing his console with artists such as Francesca Lombardo, Laura Jones and Solomun, playing in several important festivals such as Tomorrowland, We Can Dance, Sonar and Cirque Magique. 
His sound made dance the clubbers of some of the most famous European dancefloor, from the Katerblau in Berlin, to the Club Vaag and Kompass in Belgium to the Magazzini Generali in Italy and many others.
Inspired by the deep and dark minimal sounds of the Belgian music scene, Antonio Ponti's personal style is constantly evolving and creates a unique experience that makes him one of the best talents in the international music system.
In the last year he started to run together with Magnutze, a german producer, a record label called Lycid Music .where he started to present his own productions and sound.
