House Mix - Afro House, Disco House

This mix is a tribute to where it all started for me!

Before I ever touched CDJs, I was a locker (still am), dancing to funk, disco, and soul like my life depended on it. Those grooves raised me! I learned rhythm through movement long before I understood BPMs.

Summer Dance Forever 2023 was my first time at Paradiso. Seeing lockers, waackers, and freestyle dancers from around the world, it lit something in me. This mix is me giving back to that feeling. That energy. That community! 

It’s rooted in the classics. But this ain’t just nostalgia! New flavors of funk are here. From that rawness of Brooklyn Funk Essentials to the edits of Delfonic and Doug Willis, it’s all about evolution. Keeping the soul, pushing the sound!

This is for the floor. For the ones who still feel music with their whole body.

DJ, producer, and co-founder of It’s A Groove Thang, Antonne delivers sets that move bodies and connect scenes — spanning house, classic house, garage house, soulful house, deep house, disco, and funk. With roots in street dance, his sound is rhythmic, intuitive, and deeply grounded in movement culture.

He was featured as a 2024 @beatport DJ of the Month and selected as a PTDJA Future Talent, with his mix aired with @petetong's Legend Mix on Apple Music along with fellow DJs based in Europe and the US.

An alumnus of Sounds Different — an initiative that builds equity in electronic music for artists at the edges and intersections — Antonne is now stepping into music production, crafting original house tracks shaped by his dance upbringing and floor-centered sensibility.

He’s played in Bali, Saigon, and Amsterdam, and for communities like Indahouse UK, House Dance KL, and Padyak Pinas. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, the goal remains the same: music that moves with meaning.
