Monotonik Records shows the multiplicity of the sound specificity the label follows and presents the next release baring the dark nature of the whole album itself. The label artist Qbeck makes another entrance with his impressive and sombre 'Like A Dream' EP recorded with Xenia Beliayeva - the world recognized techno-diva with rich and diverse discography hailing from such labels as Shitkatapult, Systematic Recordings, Datapunk. The labelhead Mono.S delivers his Dark Edit with arpeggios and cleariness of the original idea and the own flafour at the same time. Gabriel Boni, the label head of Acid Fruits, Inminimax Records goes deeper to modern underground sound, combinig sharp and agressive bassline with original flavor and presenting completely clear vision of the original track, swaying with techno vibes.

Qbeck, Xenia Beliayeva - Like A Dream

An endless expanse of water unfolds to the limit of our gaze, losing itself at the edge between dream and reality. Vanishing sounds float like morning mist, with London-based Ryan Paul and his "Blue Ocean" EP, comprising two originals and two remixes by Havoc & Lawn (Solid Grooves Raw, Hellbent) and Javi Miramontes (Mindshake, MUSE). The lead track offers vague dubby stabs, chilled-out house grooves, and charming vocals, whilst Italys duo Havoc & Lawn opts for a gloomy, dark version with tight drums and glitchy elements. In contrast, Javi Miramontes brings some cosy vibes with feel-good trumpets and a deep-driving bassline for a laidback-terrace anthem. Closing the EP in style, "Madman Movement" provides B-side sensations with lush pads and shimmering synth lines, guiding you through an immersive journey that plunges into the depths of the late night.

Alex Ranerro, Max Casebolt, Cajal and Nikizi head to Madtech this August to deliver four fresh cuts in the next instalment of the label’s self-titled Various Artist series.

Known for championing productions from both exciting rising and emerging talents through to some of the biggest names in the industry, Madtech Records has established itself as a staple label for many since its inception back in 2012. Having recently revisited their self-titled V/A series, with contributions from the likes of Juliche Hernandez, Ray Mono and Kreutziger across the recent two instalments, the label now invites a fresh set of rising names to deliver four impressive cuts to the Madtech catalogue, welcoming recent PIV signee Alex Ranerro, London’s Max Casebolt, Argentinian Cajal and highly tipped DJ and producer Nikizi this August.

Slovenia’s Alex Ranerro opens the package with the slick ‘Usual Thing’, combining rich, warm chords and skipping percussion effortlessly, whilst Max Casebot’s ‘Focus’ switches up the aesthetic as garage-tinged basslines and slinking drums take control. Next, Cajal’s Lost Phone Mix of ‘2i418’ keeps the tempo high as skipping hats and a bubbling bass groove lead the charge, before Nikizi closes the EP and winds things down with the hypnotic and dubbed out ‘Palermo’.

This new release from @highlitemusik includes two tracks that they prepared specifically for Hey, location! The deep sound with notes of the east in the track 'Caravan' remind of the beautiful places and riddles of Arabia. The second track, 'Pleasure', is completely antithetical and takes the listener to the time of synthwave and nostalgia of the 80s, but in a modern sound.

Our next release Encuentro marks the awaited return of label-boss Cuartero to his imprint. For this great comeback he teamed up Hanfry Martinez, another Spanish talent that oozes an unique sound based on house foundations, giving us as result an awesome two track EP.

Representing Sanity, Cuartero has been a regular name on the clubbing scene for several years, touring around the world on top venues. Beside his prolific DJ career his skills beyond decks are appreciated by top labels such as Hot Creations or Eastenderz . Our second player has also a great label wagon where we can find great productions on well-known brands such as Avotre, Roush or his own Overall Music. In every beat of his works, according to his words, the Canarian producer stays loyal to his influences. 

With such a great producer combo, tittle cut Encuentro opens with a raw rythm that quickly adds elements like the jackin snare and the vocal shouts until the great rumbling bass which has a funky feeling makes a stunning appearance. Next up, Volver is based on a funny vocal loop that guides listener into a trippy journey where skipping percussion plays a main role.

Arkady produces minimalistic House tunes, combining deep-atmospheric soundscapes with uniformed electro beats. His sound is inherent in the allocation of percussion parties and several live instruments. In order to develop a unique sound, Arkady Antsyrew uses modern as well as classical synthesizers, that were popular in the far 80s and 70s (Moog, TR - 909, TR - 808). The combination of new technologies and old-school equipment opens up a new and modern sound that prooved to be fresh and relevant to the underground Industry.
