I worked really hard on this song, spent a lot of time programming drums, playing all the instruments, but I couldn't quite get it to sound the way I wanted it to (punchy, like late 70s Cheap Trick).   I'm hoping that at some point I can get some production help to where the recording sounds like the song did inside my head when I was writing it.

Dubstep REMIX STEM

Aw yeah, this one did come out nice.  I wrote it during my first year of teaching, when I was completely crazed and overwhelmed but sort of having a good time too.  Performing an earlier version of the song (in E, totally different rhythm) with a sophomoric (yeah, they were actually high school sophomores) backing band at the holiday assembly was without a doubt the moment that put my teaching career on track.  Someday, I would very much like to make a music video for this one full of lab coats and explosions and whatnot.

Chemistry Blues

Definitely one of my favorite recordings -- I remember writing it during a train ride from New York up to Springfield, Mass shortly before my wedding.  It was cool, because I didn't have a guitar or anything -- the music and lyrics just came into my head together and I was able to remember it well enough to get it down many hours later.  Some of my Harvard-Westake Physics students have really enjoyed this one -- thanks for your support, guys!
