Angelo Mike is a DJ, music producer, activist, and promoter whose contribution to the development of the Polish club scene is hard to overestimate. Acting almost from the beginning of the emerging club culture in our country, he immediately brought the musical and organizational standards he had adopted from European clubs to the challenging Polish scene after the transformation period. His actions, music, and performances have earned him the status of an undisputed icon of Polish clubbing, and despite the passage of time and changing musical trends, he continues to actively work as a DJ. His eclectic mixes of techno, disco, house, and his beloved progressive sound grace club and festival stages throughout the country. Einfach nur Wow! Was für eine Abfahrt war das denn bitte?!

Selten habe ich so viel Energie auf dem Floor gespürt, welcher mit mir zusammen ab 2 Uhr nachts anderthalb Stunden nur auf und ab gesprungen ist. Und das alles dazu auch noch in dieser tollen historischen Location einer alten DDR-Bowlingbahn, in die ein paar fette Funktion Ones geknallt wurden.

Auch wenn es zwischendrin ein paar technische Probleme zu handeln gab und das Ende stark improvisiert war, habe ich mich entschieden, dieses Set als Erinnerung an diese phänomenale Zeit hochzuladen. Ich springe beim Nachhören auch jedes Mal wieder ein klein bisschen auf und ab im Bus, der Bahn, zu Hause... “As a kid, I had only a negative perception of the word, ’Tangled’. Shoelaces, fishing lines, phone cords were all things which constantly needed de-tangling. As an adult, I love being tangled, tangled with my family, friends, the local community and in life in general. I only hope that as I grow old, I get more and more tangled."

His description ties in nicely with the emotional and immersive vibe that progressives house can create. This mix aims to capture the same vibe and spirit with layers of melodies and interwoven rhythms and a deep emotional flow. Each track 'tangled' with the next, hopefully pulling you deeper into the sound as it does with me. Just like life, it’s not meant to be linear, it’s meant to wrap around you.
