It´s a 12 Bit Jungle Out There and it´s touching down on Parallax! 

With releases on PPJ Recordings and Foundation Records and a strong online presence, you can´t escape his Amiga productions right now! His style is unmistakenly his and this EP gives a nice oversight what he´s capable of: great musicality, punchy and juicy breaks, boomin basslines, interesting and unusual arrangements - but hear for yourself. This was a long time in the making and we are happy to finally bring 12 Bit Jungle Out There to your eardrums. 

Starting on an atmospheric tip 'Imagination' stylistically harks back to the hazy days of 1994/95 and is a celebration of life. An interesting vocal, pan pipes and an overall early morning vibe paint a vivid picture. The drums build and build and end up in a rolling amen. This tune has it all and is a great intro to any set.

12 Bit Jungle Out There - Imagination [PARA025]

InnerCore returns to Parallax. With his strong debut 'Voltage Controlled' he showed what he´s capable of, with his PARADUBS release 'Style Is A Crystallisation/ Never Sleep' he proved once again that  he belongs in the holy halls of Jungle Techno. Now he´s back to present us a new set of tricks and brings us two absolutely gorgeous atmospheric Jungle rollers on the A side while returning to his signature Jungle Techno style on the flip!

'Soul Cycle' is a tune just equally as strong as the EP-opener. A spiritual and esoteric intro lulls you in before rough amens and harsh hardcore noises interrupt the meditative aura. It combines the best of different worlds, the yin pairs with yang, the meditative with rage!

Ant To be's first EP, and particularly the track "Nobody likes Me" is already regarded as a mini classic within the Kniteforce world. Its no surprise really - this Russian Dj and producer is superb, with a unique taste and crystal clear production style.

His follow up EP is every bit as strong as his first EP - maybe stronger. Each track he sent me, I was like "Ok, this is the lead for the EP, no, no, THIS is the lead track". Every tune on here is a winner, and I cant say enough good things about it. Its a 4 track EP of A sides. Ant To be is establishing himself, along with Alex Jungle, as one of the most talented of the new breed of old skool producers, and we are lucky to have him. Do NOT miss this one!

The vinyl comes with a wealth of goodies. So I will just go ahead and list them for you…

1. All the music on the EP is proper traditional old skool hardcore!

I'm a fiend for piano rave and old skool.

I was into grunge from '92  - '99, though if I could go back in time I'd enjoy breakbeat rave and piano hardcore and probably would have been a part of that scene.

I like listening to *skool, breaks, Drum and Bass, Jungle, Future Jungle tunes. I didn't start liking this genre until I heard it on the Amiga! I never owned one of those computers, as my parents bought me a PC instead, but I downloaded my first MOD from America Online filesearch back in 1994 and I really enjoyed the juxtaposition of 4-channel simplicity yet still complex beats. I didn't re-discover the genre until 2008 when I found mazemod.org and listened to chiptunes. Also fond of Reggaeton (the synth). Things really took off when I discovered Mono netlabel and listened to H0ffman's "Mono: A Retrospective in 4 channels". Mortimer Twang, Substance, "ISO - We're Here" . Great stuff! 

I like this kind of music because it brings me back to the days when I was a kid in the summer playing video games on those hot summer nights. I'd come across a screen with music I liked and would just leave it there playing on loop. Front Mission 3  / Ace Combat 3 comes to mind. I like this genre because it reminds me of futuristic things.
