Don't You Treat Me Like That

Ant is a Liverpool-based electronic dance music producer, song writer, whose love for music stemmed from discovering Stu Alan (Key 103) and Helter Skelter through listening to his sister’s mixtapes in the 90s when he was just seven years old.

Fast forward to his teens, and Liverpool had emerged as the epicentre of dance / scouse house scene.  Ant’s new passion for producing dance music was firmly confirmed as he scored his first release ‘BCD Project - Infinity (Wide Boyz V Reason 8 Remix)’ on All Around The World ‎Records. Notably without warning, BCD took it upon themselves to release the record with the wrong remixer alias, changing the spelling and thus the intended meaning of Ant’s actual remixer name ‘Rezon8’. Rumour has it that it was changed due to its similarity with to another of BCD’s remixers, Rezonance Q.

Under Rezon8, having gained notoriety across dance floors for his clean production style, unapologetic huge piano lines and uplifting melodies, Ant signed to Turbulence Records, pairing up with clubland chart toppers, Paradise in the noughties.  Together they put out massive releases including "See the Light", “Wanna Be Free” and “Touched By An Angel”.  

In 2020 saw Ant’s return to the music scene after a decade long break.  His fresh, new material promises to delight music lovers once more. His trademarks are recognisable that’s for sure, but with a current vibe, he’s back stronger than ever.
