9 years old, Jack wanna make cartoons 
Seeing tutorials online to walkthrough 
Mom bought some art supplies
For keeping him fortified, but tracing just made him tired 
So he retired, one year on an art binge 
Out in the park, just playing ball with his school friends 
Couple scores made, glad he put in his two cents 
Was like nobody can match with his rapid movements 
After the game, went back home, straight to the garden 
Kicking the ball to the wall, doing drills in the morning 
Told his mom, this is really important 
Getting a coach to train him, lucky she can afford it 
Going through so many injuries, but she supported 
Both help plant the seed, but he thought to abort it 
Competition is so fierce 
Not ready to be professional in a few years 
So he decided on cancelling practice with the coach 
Unsure if he’s moving forwards or backwards anymore 
3 years committed, but now he start to forget it 
Mom wasn’t that bothered, it’s easy for him to quit it 
Moving onto karate, swimming, and even Quidditch 
14, now he started to write lyrics 
More like Poetry laid out in a short verse 
Went up to the stage and performed it in church first 
15, started rapping and getting stoned 
He wasn’t feeling the high from writing lyrics alone 
Saving up what he had, to buy a Yeti microphone
Just a couple pillows should damp the noise in the home 
Mom found out, the pattern was pretty typical 
Now it’s not enough invested in him to keep him lyrical 
Grandma was worried the verses weren’t that spiritual
Hurricane came, sweeping up individuals 
Family of immigrants, traveling to foreign lands 
Had a stepdad, British, who at the moment planned 
Everything out, had to get out 
Living in Reading now, with so much pressure and doubt 
With his passport, viewed as an American now 
But learned a lot, with his step-grandparents around 
Unaware of the arrogance that was tearing him down 
Reading every book out of the library he found 
Philosophy, psychology, and neurology 
Began to see, that knowledge was a commodity 
Too many interests, didn’t know what he want to be 
Focused on getting into college and got a degree 
Stable job overseas, everyone proud to see him 
Succeeding, got a girl that he’s never leaving 
For whatever reason, still feeling unfulfilled 
At first it was relieving, but now it’s just a drill 
Daily morning routines, wake up around six 
On the couch is where he laid out his outfit 
Couldn’t fill out the free time 
But then he realized, that he had a creative outlet
