Loading in the tunes is B10N (AKA the musical alias of Balakrishnan VK), who’s one of the few track-slingers dabbling in juke and footwork in the Singaporean scene. His love for the chopped-up, fast-paced genre stems from his natural inclination towards bass music, and he’s expressed this over the years through Juke It!, a party series that he co-founded.

For the 15-Min Flash Mix, B10N goes way beyond 4/4 here, playing with irregular rapid percussions and ramped up BPMs. He’s pieced together a mix of bumpy beatwork with slippery grooves, made up of machine gun hats, crispy snares and pulsating kicks that rock the subs. He even adds plenty of surprising accoutrements that add colour, like insertions of acid riffs and Tamil song samples.

If Kaye had his way for 15 minutes, what would it sound like? The label co-honcho of Darker Than Wax and live saxophonist shows off his production antics in this episode, showcasing a stacked repertoire that he’s amassed over the years.

He has shared the decks with various well known international DJs such as Eli & Fur, Sebastian Leger, Matt Smallwood, My Digital Enemy, Mendo, youANDme, Chelina Manuhutu, Adrian Hour, Amine K, Arjun Vagale and many more.
Fyan H also plays as a duo alongside Vanan M. The duo having recently closed Odyssey Music Festival. The festival feature international heavy weights The Magician and Booka shade.
He is also the founding member of Bitrates Asia. Bitrates is a collective that promotes the underground house & techno scene in Singapore, Malaysia & Indonesia.
