Guns N' Roses....May 23rd 1988....Opening for IRON MAIDEN

I had seats 4th row on the 'Floor' seat '8' I'd already seen them open for "THE CULT", and had traveled to L.A. (in between) on a 10 day vacation with my girlfriend, of which one night I wandered down to the "Strip", on a mission to see GUNS N ROSES at the Troubadour at age 17. After much whining and begging to get in...."c'mon , man, I'm from nowhere Canada, I came all the way here to see my favorite band"....on and on, I saw them there, (I think they were off to Pasadena CA shortly), in their element....and I was hooked for life! When they came to my hometown opening for IRON MAIDEN, (a short lived tour), I taped it with a small SONY dictator cassette player. It was 1988, you couldn't just bring the 200lb V.H.S. recorder in with you, hehe. Originally I seperated the songs individually, but this is the full almost a one hour show. Hope you enjoy....PEACE!!!!
