This is a reimagined version of my song Sailors. Weirder, and sexier. Life is a circus, you should have fun! Sonically, expect a weird pop symphony of electronic instruments, horns and glockenspiel. As I wrote, life is a circus, and this is where this song is supposed to be played. And it's also supposed to be played LOUD

Skriðdreki (Crawling Dragon) is the second track from 8 by Laxá & Heima Kvartett — an Icelandic post-rock ensemble known for fusing cinematic strings, dub reggae basslines, and atmospheric guitars.

Dedicated to bassist Bjarne Guðjohnsen, Skriðdreki opens with a driving bass line crawling beneath layers of fuzzed guitar and rhythmic drums. As the density lifts, Mike Taylor’s church organ and the Heima Kvartett’s strings rise through the haze, giving the piece a sense of both menace and release.
