My remix of Jasmine Thompson's 'Adore'. The key bits that I remember when making this track is fiddling about with the vocals (especially using the pitcher tool to create backing harmonies) and creating intricate drum fills and rolls.

I had a lot of fun making this one! I really found the guitars made this feel pretty dark, and it all just came together when I made the chorus synth. I'd like to think this sounds a bit goth, with the heavy reverb on the synth making it sound like the synths were made in a wet church, or something... spooky.

Allie X - Old Habits Die Hard (Anxi Remix)

That's me singing - with my glamorous assistant, auto-tune! I decided to record a cover version of Foxes' 'If You Leave Me Now' for a studio project module and this is the outcome. This was the first time I recorded and produced my own vocals so this proved to be an exciting but strange experience.

Recording myself singing is something that I've always wanted to do but it's ALWAYS something I talked myself out of. So I treat this as my triumph over that nasty voice in my head constantly saying that I'm not good enough. If you feel the same way, I get you.

Anyway, here's hoping you like it...

If You Leave Me Now (orig. Foxes)

I love making house tracks, as this is how I started getting to grips with electronic music production. So, with Decadence, I wanted to go back to my musical origins and create a classic house track with a twist. The twist being the implementation of an orchestra tuning before a concert. If you listen carefully to the track, you can hear this recording being used as a rise, a chopped lead, and in making up the general ambience of the track. I also spent a lot of time honing in on the mix and mastering of the track, and trying to get away from the idea that loud = better (because that is not always the case!)

As a reverse-birthday present I give you my remix of Breath of the Wild! I loved Breath of the Wild and its OST, so I thought that it would be fun to put together a cute remix of some of its musical moments. My track features elements from the cooking music, the overworld daytime theme and the Hyrule dragons theme. It's been super fun, hope you like!

Well, we made it through 2020, and it hasn't been the best year for me musically. However, I did manage to get this remix of Charli XCX's 'party 4 u' completed just in time to see out the year. I tried to combine the ravey energy of Charli XCX's work with a sweeter, bubblegum edge with a string trio chucked in the middle. It's a bit hectic and all over the place, kind of like my mental state this year.

Hi! I am an electronic musician and pop music enthusiast based in Lancaster. My work combines elements of pop, electronica, ambience, video games and house beats into a cute and fantastical fusion.
After making a bunch of bootleg remixes under the pseudonym MystifiedBulb22, I've moved onto producing more original music. This came to fruition with the release of my first EP ‘Fiction, Vol. 1’ in 2014. 'Fiction' features a series of instrumental tracks in a range of electronic styles, ranging from synthetic drum and bass to minimal jazz. Since then, I have been working on new tracks, including original EDM-influenced music, vocal covers and remixes.
