For our next chug fwen we introduce Roya, local favourite and one of the heads behind Leeds’ new alternative event space The Imaginarium. The Imaginarium is a particularly special venue - a symbol of the re-emerging underground scene post covid. These local intimate settings (Wharf Chambers, Outlaws Yacht Club, The Imaginarium to name only a few) are beloved places for the music, art and cultures we love. Cherished spaces at a time of need providing community and belonging for those that need it.

Aside from this Roya is a super talented DJ in her own right. She’s played Holistic Missile and Beatherder as well as the legendary Golden Lion in Todmorden. Locally Roya has played all over, but you can catch her regularly on Narr Radio. Roya is another beloved member of our amazing local scene and we are honoured to add to the series with this mix from her xx

Hypnoize was born in Cordoba, Argentina, spent part of his childhood in Paris, France and is currently based in Berlin, Germany.

In Berlin he has played at major clubs and venues such as Sisyphos, Golden Gate, Sage Beach, Crack Bellmer, Bulbul, Maze, Promenaden Eck, Minimal Bar and many more.

Recently, he has also performed in other European cities such as Barcelona (Spain), Bucharest (Romania), Kiel, and Koblenz (Germany) , having played at venues such as Gradina Monteoru, G Spot Club, Bunker, and Gecko Lounge with the Spherart Crew.

Currently he's an active member of Intaresu, alongside Isaac Elejalde and vault. working on curating events, as well as regularly releasing music on the channel.

As a producer he's highly involved and owns the label Space Hybrids, where he usually prefers to release his tracks to fully express himself. His releases have been premiered on major imprints such as Recordeep, Kiku, We Are Play Music, and of course Intaresu.

His style is a combination of groove, minimalism and deepness, always flirting with House and Techno.
