Our third release is something rather special, we welcome our good talented Norwegian/Turkish friend "Wolfson" to the label; owner of the magnificent WOLD records, who has been actively releasing some awesome music from labels like ZEHN, Eleatics, Somatic, Kittball, and Dear Deer and constantly being seen on the Top 100 charts and been having global support all around. 

Opening the Ep with the “Original Mix”; a sweet breakbeat groove with a lush vocal with a catchy melodic and a driving riff. Then comes the "Erdi Irmak Remix”; a very talented Turkish producer who made a big name for himself with many stellar releases from labels such as Sudbeat, Tale, and Tone, When We Dip, and many more with Top 100 charts and global support, keeping the original flavor with his signature deep/organic sound and a solid groove. 
Finishing the EP with our founder "Gadi Mitrani Remix" A robust progressive groove with an infectious melody ride keeping the flow with organic afro beats.

Making their debut on Manual Music, Dutch duo Around Us present their album ‘Reaching Home’. 

Based in Amsterdam, Around Us first emerged in 2018, quickly establishing themselves as a rising act with releases via Balkan Connection’s BC2 and long-standing Dutch imprint LuPS Records. World class DJ and progressive music tastemaker Hernan Cattaneo was the first to chime in with support. Showcasing one of the duo’s early productions ‘Sleeping Blue’ as part of his hugely popular Resident podcast. A bond with the Manual Music collective was also formed early on, as the well-received ‘Voyager’ EP landed in 2019 courtesy of label affiliate Cinematique. Four years later and Around Us now sits on a well-kept resume, with key projects on Click Records, Clubsonica, Freegrant Music and Manual Music’s progressive minded MNL division, all serving as vehicles for the duo’s deep and groovy sounds. Continuing on an upwards trajectory, Around Us now presents their first ever album project entitled ‘Reaching Home’ care of Paul Hazendonk’s Manual Music. 

Around Us’ capacity for storytelling - both comforting and challenging - resonates across the album’s second showcase piece ‘Homecoming’. Shot in high-definition and full of detail and idiosyncrasies, it's a poignant voyage where the duo explores a storyboard of indistinct vocal arrangements, balmy swells and meandering musical coactions.

As we enter the summer frenzy of festivals, late nights and fun, Sudbeat introduce Ezequiel Arias with a triple dose of warm, inviting beats to soundtrack those musical adventures. The Argentinian will be familiar to many with stand out tracks already on high profile labels such as Plattenbank and Replug. For his debut on Sudbeat, Arias unveils three consistently brilliant tracks - 'Passenger', 'Control Is an Illusion' and 'Inertia' - which perfectly showcase his talents as a producer. 

The influence of Kevin Di Serna (Ezequiel’s mentor and close friend) is clear to see. Opening track, ‘Passenger’ has a driving percussive undertow crafted with delicate synth sweeps, pads and ethereal voices to add to the drama. It exudes a warmth and completeness that will have you begging for more on each play. 

‘Control Is an Illusion’ continues the theme of subtle driving deepness from the first beat. More energetic in sound design that the opener, it is a good lesson in how sparse arrangements and clever use of tension and release can result in a track that captivates the dance floor. Arias pays a great deal of attention to the finer details making his music stand head and shoulders above the rest. 

Closing the EP is ‘Inertia’. Far from being sluggish or lethargic, Arias employs his most bold sound designs on this robust peak-timer. Bubbling acidic undertones meander alongside the track mark pads which build in intensity with ethereal voices. A shaker-led percussion adds greatly to the drive of the track making this the heaviest of the three. A superb finale to a well crafted debut release.
