Thoughts:
pure experimentalism on this one.  really thought about recording some candid talk for the beginning, maybe I'll do an updated version.  For this i just really like the groove and whimsy of it.  I tried a lot of tweaking to smooth the pop out of the opening ambiance, then later fell in love with the burst of tone and tried to pull it out more. I realize it doesn't quite work on all speakers. 

Not really in love with the detuning stuff I did, maybe filtering instead. Also learning how to beef up a crescendo, the synth does not fit in the mix very well, I admit that I left it tuned that way for the texture and could have found a better way to do that, but at the same time it does give it some character.

Finding myself really wanting to upgrade to ableton  with an audio interface as well.  Feeling LMMS isn't doing it for me anymore, though perhaps there is more is can learn before moving on. Choices...

I got ableton intro! With that means there's more skill required and I could've spent forever tweaking with the mixing and mastering, but I just wanted to get this out there and move on.

The guitar loop was recorded on my phone last year. This track was made with some happy accidents and I like the vibe. One day I think I might revisit this after I learn more about production.

following your creative curiosity can take you to strange places, this was supposed to be an upbeat dance groove. i could've spent longer on it, yet here i'm trying to  get projects out so i can get in the habit of finishing things. maybe i should have a more of a filter, but this page should become be a nice documentation of my progress.

Spooky Melancholie Ok

I find solace in the fact that whatever someone's going through there can be an outlet for expression. A way to process the darkness through some semblance of hope. I hope everyone has such a thing, if not know know that if you are open it will find you eventually.
