LISA The Homeless - Bite The Bait (by VinegarDMS)

This episode is an adventure where we step outside the show's usual setting and the characters' comfort zone into unknown territory, and I wanted the main recurring theme for the episode to highlight their ambivalence and hesitation. It's supposed to feel somewhat unnervingly peaceful, almost like creepy elevator music.

The main sections are inspired by Vince Guaraldi's "Motocross" track, but with the lower energy of the later Ed Bogas Peanuts soundtracks. The first bridge is more synthy take on Joe Hisaishi, one of my favourite composers, and the second one shamelessly steals a melody fragment from The RAH Band's Perfumed Garden.

And as with a lot of the music I do for my cartoons, it's sort of modular, easily cut down into different edits depending on what I might need. I ended up using 3 short excerpts of it.
