Ben’s tech-prog sound crosses boundaries – tough beats and rolling basslines contrast with soaring melodies, fusing his love of the tougher sounds of techno and tech house with classic progressive house.

Ben’s tight, energetic DJ sets have rocked crowds worldwide. As well as being a regular in clubs and festivals across the UK, he has DJ’d at an impressive list of international destinations. Ben is also part of the crew behind 'Shifty Disko', and has a monthly show on Proton radio, called ‘Connected’. He's also one half of Nanoplex, his progressive techno project with DJ Ipcress.

Ben Coda

Neither happy nor sad, RAINDROPS balances bright synth progressions with dreamy vocals to transmit an astoundingly melancholic mood. Sainte Vie masterfully takes advantage of the freedom afforded by the progressive and melodic techno genres to pair a rhythmic, catchy, and richly layered track with poetic lyrics. The vocals invite the listener to think of a time when “fear wasn’t around” while the beat picks up energy. The buildup is reinforced by the melodic singing, culminating in an expansive drop. Following the drop, the track’s lead synth goes up an octave, extending the sensation of climax. Sainte Vie treats us to a constellation of emotions in a harmonic iteration of his eclectic production style.

Crosstown Rebels founder Damian Lazarus unearthed Fur Coat (originally a duo) and promptly signed their debut EP “Space Ballad”. However, their release ‘You and I’ in 2012 truly put them on the map. Their debut album ‘Mind Over Matter’ followed and as a result the guys began rocking the dance floors of the most prestigious clubs in the world such as DC10, Watergate, The Warehouse Project, Rex Club, Fabric, Warung Beach and more.

After entering the RA Top 100 Poll straight in at 66, an accolade they have achieved now for two years in a row, Fur Coat evolved towards a melodic house and techno sound. Their skills were promptly picked for the infamous Balance Mix series and for the highly respected Essential Mix on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1.

Their music has garnered respect from some of the most legendary names in techno from Sasha, John Digweed, Tale Of Us and more. On top of all of this the pair launched their own label @oddityrecordings and showing no signs of stopping. With shows across Europe, North & South America and Asia.
Fur Coat’s story continues in 2021 as Sergio’s solo project pushing boundaries after releasing his second album “Polyphony” on Renaissance and constantly releasing new music on the world's most renowned electronic music labels, as well as pushing for new sounds and signing upcoming and established artists for his label Oddity.

Fabio Fernandez and Samuel Wallen were born in Madrid in 1990 and 1991 respectively, both of them currently reside in Madrid. Music Production Degree (OIBAF), Sound Engineering Degree (WALLEN).

Have received the support of great world leaders of the scene such as Joseph Capriati, Maceo Plex, Nick Warren, Sasha, Guy Gerber, Fideles, Mind Against, Innellea, Fur Coat, Øostil & HeÎk, Stephan Jolk, Tim Green, Undercatt, BOg, Echonomist, Toto Chiavetta or Black Coffee.

Releasing originals, remixes and collaborations releasing music with world class artists as, Hernan Cattaneo, Marc DePulse, Betoko, Binaryh, Haptic (Vocalist), Rafael Cerato and upcoming releases with Iberian Muse, Paul Anthonee, Nohak, Add-Us, Mia Mendi, among others.
