Combining elements of dark progressive, industrial and psychedelic trance, this EP highlights every aspect of our mindset as we journey through worldwide hysteria. The
constant drum of the deep basslines of our hypnotized state, broken by erratically chattering
machines that try to break free of the bonds of our disharmony with the world and
each other, as the funky tempo of the hi-hats impatiently wait for us to come back to our
natural senses.

Metasploit is a German DJ and Producer, known as the Manager of dhrk-sonik.net Radio, specializing in Dark Prog Forest styles.

In 2020, Metasploit built up dhrk-sonik.net radio to provide a platform for other DJs and artists, with more than 7,000 listeners worldwide every month and three thousand followers.

He push many artists on the international road to success with his agile radio management. Since then, he has delighted more than 240,000 listeners and works with international well known artists and record labels on the radio.

He started DJing in 1995 and collected techno records early on. Soon after, he was DJing at local clubs and many underground parties. Furthermore, in 2001 he started producing Techno and Minimal. He achieved a breakthrough in 2008 with his unforgettable performance at Universo Parallelo Festival.

Melancholia EP—a work close to my heart that, as the name suggests, was meant to evoke deep emotions and introspection. Given the devastating events in Valencia and across southern Spain, it feels only right to use this moment to contribute to those impacted by the flooding. The response and resilience of people facing this disaster are humbling, and we as a community can lend a hand to help rebuild what’s been lost.

All proceeds from Melancholia EP will be donated directly to relief organizations supporting those affected. Let’s take the spirit of this music beyond ourselves and turn it into something tangible for those in need. Every listen, every share, and every bit of support goes a step further in helping the recovery efforts. Together, we can turn even the heaviest sounds into hope."

This EP isn’t just a collection of tracks; it’s the final note of an era, the closing chapter of a sound that has been with me through deep exploration and transformation. With this release, I’m wrapping up a cycle, capturing emotions that have shaped my creative world up to now.

As we step into 2025, a new direction begins, one where fresh concepts and bolder soundscapes will emerge. Melancholia is both a reflection and a farewell to what has been and the launchpad for what’s to come. Join me in saying goodbye to one sonic era and in welcoming the future.
